As the UK’s only dedicated higher education specialists we are uniquely placed to manage risk and deliver services that are mutually beneficial to all our members.
As mutual organisations, our core strengths benefit all our members – from large research facilities to smaller further education colleges.
Formed by our members in 1992, we work together to pool resources, share exposure and secure bespoke cover at competitive rates. Any surpluses generated are returned to the membership, rather than shareholders. Our members own, control and operate us through elected boards. We also share experience to build our unique understanding of the higher education sector and, with it, the ability to react quickly to change.
